Paulo José Olivier Moreira Lara

• Is researcher at the Department of Sociology of the Institute of Philosophy and Social Sciences (IFCH) at

the University of Campinas.

• Graduated in Sociology and Political Sciences, has a CNPq (ministry of Science and Technology) scholarship

for his MA, studying relations between techniques and politics in means of communication, specifically on Tactical Media concept and practices.

• Since 1998 member of Radio Muda – Rádio Livre (Free Radio) collective, has experience in workshops and

realization of radio programs in alternative media in either public, private and government projects.

• Member of the group Submidia (practices and theory over media), has presented artistic and communication

interventions in many festivals and debates.

• Collaborator of the midiatatica.org network since 2003, was part of the autolabs, findetatico and

waag/sarai fellowship projects.

• His other researches are in the field of Latin American Culture and Afro American Music.
• Actually works in Minas Gerais state at gesac program for the federal government
