If you want the real deal learn Portuguese. It's a beautiful language with words for concepts and feelings which do not exist in English. You have been warned.

The development areas of Colab are:

MetaReciclagem, developing free solutions for things that used to be called Infrastructure: computers, interconnectivity, operating systems. Details here (http://metareciclagem.org).

MeMeLab, centre of research and development into the aesthetic and narrative possibilities of reappropriating technology. Details here (http://memelab.org)

Xemelê, area of research into tools for online interaction, interconnectivity of communities, e-learning and distributed learning. Details here (http://xemele.org).

Projects

Some projects of ProjetoMetaFora are still alive, many never left the drawing board, others were developed outside and are now reincorporated into the running collective, and new ideas surfaced during nearly three years of intense debate.
